Two items struck me as I was went through the reading this week.
The first was the need for a mentor when beginning to implement technology in the classroom. The sheer amount of tools that are available for all teachers can be daunting. Each content area has specific needs and ideas.
The second item was the instructional design models. Instructional Design Central describe instructional design as a "systematic development of instruction". Each model for the instructional design was represented as a circle. Each model includes a place for students to practice and demonstrate what they have learned in real life models.
